This Privacy Policy explains how Eternexa (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles information in connection with our mobile applications (the “App”) and our website finance.eternexa.com (together, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to this Policy.
1. The short version
- The calculators do their arithmetic on your device / in your browser. On the website, entered values also appear in the URL so you can reopen or share a result.
- We do not require sign-up. We do not ask for your name or email to use a calculator.
- We may show ads to keep the Services free. Ad partners may collect certain device data, and on the website use cookies, to deliver those ads (details below).
- We do not sell your personal information.
2. Calculator inputs and shareable links
The calculations themselves run in your browser or app; we do not submit your inputs through a calculator form to a database. On the website, values such as salary, loan amounts and investment figures are written into the page URL as query parameters. This makes a result easy to reopen or share, but anyone who receives that link can read the values. When someone opens the link, the URL is requested from our hosting provider and may appear in its request logs. Avoid entering confidential details or sharing a result link unless you are comfortable with the values in it being seen by the recipient.
Saved calculations and preferences are stored locally in your browser or app. On the website, you can remove saved entries from the Saved page or clear them all there. Clearing this site’s browser data also removes its saved calculations and preferences. Reopening a saved result uses a URL containing its inputs, as described above.
3. Information collected automatically by third parties
To keep the Services free, we use third-party advertising and platform services that may automatically collect limited technical data, including:
- Device and advertising identifiers
- On the website, cookies and similar identifiers stored in your browser by our advertising partner
- IP address and approximate (coarse) location derived from it
- Device type, operating system, app/browser version, and language
- Ad interaction and basic usage/diagnostic data
This data is collected and processed by those third parties under their own privacy policies, primarily to deliver, measure, and personalize advertising and to keep the Services stable.
4. Third-party services we use
- Advertising partners — on our Android app we use Google AdMob; on this website we use Google AdSense. Each processes data under its own policy — see how Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services.
- Google Play services — provided by Google for app delivery and integrity.
- Hosting — the website is served as static files by our hosting provider, which may log basic request data for security and reliability.
- Website analytics — we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used. It is cookieless: it sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, and does not follow you across other websites. It records the page visited, the referring page, your browser, operating system and device type, a country derived from your IP address, and page-loading speed. Cloudflare says Web Analytics does not log URL query strings, but our hosting provider may still receive a URL when a result link is opened.
5. Advertising & personalization
On the website, third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. These third parties may place and read cookies in your browser, or use web beacons and your IP address, to collect information as a result of ad serving on this website.
Ads may be personalized based on the data described above. You can control or reset ad personalization at any time:
- In the app: when a privacy-options entry point is required, open Settings → “Ads privacy choices” to review or change the choices in Google’s consent form.
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads → “Delete advertising ID” or “Opt out of Ads Personalization”.
- Web: opt out of personalized advertising in Google’s Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info, or clear and block cookies in your browser.
6. Children
The Services are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. How information is shared
We do not sell your personal information. Technical/advertising data is handled by the third-party providers listed above under their policies. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.
8. Data retention & security
We do not keep a calculator-input database. Shared result URLs may appear in hosting request logs, and third-party providers retain data under their own policies. We take reasonable measures to keep the Services secure, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
If you email us, our email provider receives your email address and the message you choose to send, which may include calculator values or result links. We use that information to respond to your enquiry and investigate reported problems. You can contact us to request deletion of that correspondence.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under applicable privacy laws, including rights to access, correct or delete personal data and to opt out of personalized ads. You can use your device/browser settings and the ad controls above, contact the relevant provider, or contact us using the details below.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate.
